Unstoppable Sultan Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi and Charlotte Tecquin Dominate Again
Sultan Abdulaziz Al Rumaihi and Charlotte Tecquin have proved they are in unstoppable form as they won the youth competitions which were part of the fourth round of the showjumping season, held in Al Raffah.
The fourth round was patronised by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
Two contests were organised for young athletes, and Tecquin triumphed in the first competition, while Al Rumaihi won the second one.
Tecquin outclassed her competitors in the first event after her flawless performance enabled her to finish in 29.02 seconds, almost one second ahead of the runner-up Hassan Hani Al Yabes.
Tecquin participated with two different horses, and her second attempt allowed her to occupy the third position after posting a time of 32.42 seconds.
Meanwhile, Al Rumaihi finished first in the second contest after amassing 44 points and clocking in 38.90 seconds.
Al Al Baqali was the closest competitor to him, and he was three seconds away, although he collected 44 points too.
Al Rumaihi also took part on two different horses in this competition, and he came third in his second shot.
