BREEF was established as per a ministerial decree issued by GOYS number (9) on the 19th March 2003. The founding authority for BREEF is H.H. Sh. Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, who is also the Head of the Royal Team, representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in national and international events of both Equestrian and Endurance championships. The BREEF office is headquartered in Awali.
The Bahrain Royal Equestrian & Endurance Federation is the sole authority for organising all the equestrian activities, games and events, as done by its predecessor – the Bahrain Equestrian Association.
All Equestrian activities in the Kingdom are sponsored by His Majesty the King and the General Organisation for Youth and Sports (GOYS).

the President
On behalf of the Board of Directors, I wish to welcome to all enthusiasts of this noble sport. Horses are a wonder and Equestrian Sport is a constant reminder of their power, endurance and outstanding character.
At BREEF, we wish to bring the benefits of the Equestrian Sport to all
areas of society and business. With that in mind, we herewith present a range of ways to be involved with BREEF and its ongoing activities to enhance equestrianism in Bahrain.From commercial to philanthropic, there are a wide range of ways to be involved with us. And if there is yet another way in which you would like to be associated, we are open to that too.

All the Riders who wish to participate in the events for Endurance Horse Riding, Showjumping and the Arabian Horse Show must register with BREEF. Furthermore, all enquiries and communication regarding seasonal events must be directed to the following address:
