Al Rumaihi Dominates 7th Round with Three Titles
HE Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed A Khalifa, Deputy Head of the Showjumping Committee at Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) has crowned Mayoof Al Rumaihi of the Ministry of Interior team as the winner of the Grand Prize of the 7th round of the showjumping season which concluded on Friday, held in BDF Equestrian Centre, Sakhir.
HE Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khalifa underlined that the showjumping sport is witnessing tangible improvement thanks to the interest and care of the Board of Directors of BREEF under the chairmanship of HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, praising at the same time the huge efforts being exerted by the Organising Committee as well as the other involved committees.
It’s worth noting that HE Shaikh Abdullah crowned the winner in the presence of Ms. Huda Janahi, Owner of Horse Pride co. Al Rumaihi came first in the event which featured 140cm hurdles after posting a time of 63.64 seconds. Hussain Dadallah was second in 71.34 seconds, and Al Rumaihi finished third in 80.60 seconds.
Al Rumaihi was in a great form as he also won the third and fourth competitions for senior competitors. He grabbed first place in the third competition which included 110cm hurdles after clocking 37.17 seconds.
Abbas Yusuf finished second, and third place went to Grace Rodney. In the fourth competition, which featured 120cm hurdles, Al Rumaihi clocked 62.89 seconds to win first place, followed by Hamad Fakhrawi and Ahmed Al Hasheli.
Furthermore, Hussain Dadallah of the Ministry of Interior won the joker hurdle event.
