Good Participation Witnessed on First Day
Horses Showcase Beauty in National Day’s Horse Beauty Championship
Al Rashdiya Stable Dominates Various Categories

On the instructions of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs Honourary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEE) and under the patronage of HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF the National Day’s Horse Beauty Championship commenced on Thursday at Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club. The four-day event will conclude on December 4, 2021.

On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that the interest and the utmost care the equestrian sports in general, and the horse beauty sport in particular are receiving from HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain have been a source of motivation to continue supporting owners, stables and organising various events to write new success stories written by this sport which is among the important heritage sports.

HH Shaikh Nasser explained that the National Day’s Horse Beauty Championship is among the prominent functions being organised annually by BREEF, especially that it coincides with the National Day and HM the King’s accession to the throne celebrations.

Moreover, HH Shaikh Nasser praised the shows displayed on the first day, wishing the best of luck to all the participants.

Results
The event featured various categories, and in the one-year-old-filly section, Mayyara, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable, achieved first place, followed by Najdiya, owned by Al Zain Stable and Hallat Al Danna, owned by Al Zain Stable too. In the two-year-old filly category, Shaheera, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable, topped the padium, while Sundus Al Manama, owned by Tariq Sulaiman, triumphed in the 3-year-old-filly category.

In the mares’ class, Jawharat Al Rashdiya, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable, won first place in the 4-year-old-and-above section, and Shalash, owned by the same stable, came first in the 1-3-year-old class.

In the stallion category, Nashmi Al Rashdiya, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable triumphed in the four-year-old-and-above class. There were two events for the same class, and Muheeb Al Rashidya, owned by the same stable, emerged victor.
