Filly AA Victoria Wins Bronze Medal
Nasser and Khalid bin Hamad Congratulated by Isa bin Abdullah on Royal Team’s Accomplishment at Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Horse Festival

HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee have been congratulated by HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) on the bronze medal which was won by filly AA Victoria on the main day of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Horse Festival, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Present in the event was HRH Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

HH Shaikh Isa explained that this achievement is the fruit of the interest and support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the Bahraini horse beauty sport which is now setting a great example in horse production, especially that the filly belongs to the Royal team of BREEF and is a Bahraini-produced horse.

HH Shaikh Isa also lauded A’ali stable and its owner Ali Abdullah Al A’ali for their role in this achievement, wishing the Bahraini participants the best of luck in their up-coming participation at Abu Dhabi International Horse Beauty Championship which will be held on February 10-13, 2022.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Al Mudahka, head of the Bahraini delegation which partook in the event, affirmed that this achievement embodies the support provided by HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa to the Kingdom’s team.

It’s worth noting that AA Victoria came third in the 2-3yr old filly category, bringing home a cash prize worth 100,000 Saudi riyals following stiff competition.

HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa Praised His Highness’ Continuous Support

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Instructs the Participation of Bahrain Royal team of BREEF in the Saudi and UAE Arabian Horse Beauty Championships

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has directed the participation of the Bahrain Royal Arabian Horse Beauty team of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) in the upcoming foreign championships, most notably, in the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Horse Festival and the Abu Dhabi International Arabian Horse Beauty Championship. The latter event will be held from the 10th till the 13th of February, 2022, while the former competition will take place from the 27th till the 29th of January, 2022.

On this occasion, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, affirmed that the unlimited support enjoyed by equestrian sports from HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has greatly contributed to the achievement of many accomplishments in various sports in the recent period. He added that His Highness’ interest in purebred Arabian horse sport has played a key role in the Kingdom’s successful participation in foreign events, stating that this vital success prompts the Federation to maintain its keenness in developing this traditional sport and asserts its position in foreign events.

In addition, HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa pointed out that the broad Bahraini participation in these championships confirms that the purebred Arabian horse beauty contests are continuing to develop and flourish. Moreover, HH Shaikh Isa expressed his appreciation for the outstanding efforts made by Bahraini stables in qualifying for the upcoming participations, wishing the team continued success that reflects the evolving image of this sport in the Kingdom.

For his part, Abdulla Al Mudahka, Head of the Bahraini Royal team delegation, expressed his great thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for their continuous support to the team locally and in foreign participations.

It’s worth noting that the Bahraini team will take part in both events with 6 horses from the Royal team, 4 from Al Shehab Stable, 4 from Al Nawader Stable, 2 from Al Naseem Stable, and one horse from Al Mudahka, A’ali, Al Qattan, Al Rowaie, Al Layal and Al Muhanna stables.

Broad Participation on the Second Day of the National Day’s Championship

Nasser bin Hamad: We Will Continue Supporting BREEF and Horse Beauty Competitions

On the instructions of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs Honourary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEE) and under the patronage of HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF the National Day’s Horse Beauty Championship continued on its second day in the presence of BREEF’s Board members and amid wide participation.

On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa expressed appreciation to BREEF under the presidency of HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for creating an ideal environment for the stables and breeders to confirm the high position of the Arabian horse beauty sport.

He pointed out that the National Day’s Horse Beauty Championship has always reflected the high position of this heritage sport and featured intense competitions. Furthermore, HH Shaikh Nasser wished all the participants the best of luck.

The Champion of Champions

On the first of the event, the champion of the champions competitions were held. And Shaheerat Al Rashdiya, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable, won the three-and-two-year-old-filly competition. In the mare section, Asfoorat Al Sultana, owned by Al Orsiyah, triumphed in the four-year-old-and-above category. Meanwhile, Muheeb Al Rashdiya, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable, emerged victorious in the four-year-old-and-above class.

Strong Competitions

The second day of the Championship featured strong competitions among the participants. AT Sarab, owned by Atayeb Stable, triumphed in the one-year-old-filly section, while Bashayer Al Turaify, owned by Hussain Abdullah Stable, won the B section for the same age category. Furthermore, in the two-year-old-filly section, TFK Ghalya, owned by TFK Stable, topped the podium, and D Majara, owned by Al Naseem Stable won the B section for the same age group. Finally, AA Victoria, owned by A’ali Stable, won the three-year-old-filly category.

Al Rashdiya Stable Dominates Various Categories

On the instructions of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs Honourary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEE) and under the patronage of HH Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF the National Day’s Horse Beauty Championship commenced on Thursday at Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club. The four-day event will conclude on December 4, 2021.

On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed that the interest and the utmost care the equestrian sports in general, and the horse beauty sport in particular are receiving from HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the King of the Kingdom of Bahrain have been a source of motivation to continue supporting owners, stables and organising various events to write new success stories written by this sport which is among the important heritage sports.

HH Shaikh Nasser explained that the National Day’s Horse Beauty Championship is among the prominent functions being organised annually by BREEF, especially that it coincides with the National Day and HM the King’s accession to the throne celebrations.

Moreover, HH Shaikh Nasser praised the shows displayed on the first day, wishing the best of luck to all the participants.

Results
The event featured various categories, and in the one-year-old-filly section, Mayyara, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable, achieved first place, followed by Najdiya, owned by Al Zain Stable and Hallat Al Danna, owned by Al Zain Stable too. In the two-year-old filly category, Shaheera, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable, topped the padium, while Sundus Al Manama, owned by Tariq Sulaiman, triumphed in the 3-year-old-filly category.

In the mares’ class, Jawharat Al Rashdiya, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable, won first place in the 4-year-old-and-above section, and Shalash, owned by the same stable, came first in the 1-3-year-old class.

In the stallion category, Nashmi Al Rashdiya, owned by Al Rashdiya Stable triumphed in the four-year-old-and-above class. There were two events for the same class, and Muheeb Al Rashidya, owned by the same stable, emerged victor.
